• Please DO NOT post in a ban contest thread unless you are:
    1. The person banned or posting a ban request.
    2. Senior Staff.
This is necessary to keep threads on-topic and uncluttered. Thank you.

If you don't know why you were banned, you probably broke one of our server rules. Most bans are temporary except in the case of gross violations or repeated infractions.

[Resolved] Ban Appeal

In Game Name: ♠ ShinKari ♣

Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:796687566

Time Of Ban: 08-26-24 06:36 "Permanant"

Reason: Ban Evasion, Previous Ban

I am writing to appeal my ban related to my past actions in Team Fortress 2, particularly during the time when the new x64 system was implemented. I acknowledge that I made poor choices by cheating, and I deeply regret my actions.

Still not realizing I transitioned to TF2C with the same mindset of a cheater still but still got banned, but I have since recognized it ended the same way, and I regret every bad action I had done and have stopped cheating after taking some time to think and I have taken that time to reflect and have committed to playing fairly and respecting the gaming community.

I sincerely apologize for my past actions and the disruption I caused. I am eager to demonstrate my commitment to fair play and contribute positively to the community. Thanks for reading my appeal.

Best regards,
[Lucian]

Your appeal has been received, please give us a few days to review the details and get back to you.

Thank you for your patience.

I can indeed confirm you were originally banned for cheating on our servers in May of this year, and subsequently banned again for an attempted ban evasion in August.

While we appreciate your honesty and the sentiment in your appeal, your ban will not be overturned at this time.
Our published server rules and policies explicitly state we have zero tolerance policies for both cheating and ban evasion, and while I have been known to grant clemency on some very old bans relating to cheating (as in, multiple years ago, where we genuinely believe the person has changed their ways), In this case I don't feel that a mere five months is sufficient. This is especially so in contrast to "non-cheating" permanent bans we issue - as those may not be appealed sooner than one year from the day they were issued.

Thanks for your understanding in this matter.
