Thank you for your appeal. After reviewing the staff discussions about this incident, it seems a staff member decided to enforce our rule 7 against self promotion on your name. This was not the intention of that rule.

As such I would like to deeply apologize for this incident. To remedy this situation I'm doing the following:

1. The ban has been deleted from our sourcebans records.
2. Staff will be coached about this incident. We'd rather staff think of the rules as guidelines in the future rather than having them follow them so strictly that things like this occur.
3. I will discuss with the senior staff a way to clarify the wording of rule 7 to make its intentions more clear. TTV tags in usernames are okay. The rule was made to prevent people who put skin betting websites and stuff in their name, or do promotional spam.
