I was playing a server when someone with a similar username (Monopoly) started mic spamming, mod banned me instead of the mic spammer. I THe ban was toward a different person and not me.

If you don't know why you were banned, you probably broke one of our server rules. Most bans are temporary except in the case of gross violations or repeated infractions.
