Hello, I was banned and I’m not sure why. I haven’t played for over a year, and when I returned today to have some fun, I was banned shortly after joining. I’m a long-time player on the VaultF4 servers, and I’ve never been banned for anything—no trash talk, no racism, no cheating, nothing of the sort.

The only thing I use is MasterConfig on a low preset because my computer is not very good. I’ve used it for a long time without issues, so if something is causing a conflict, it must be something new. If needed, I can provide my console log or any other information that may help clarify the situation.

We'll review the details and get back to you soon, usually in 2-3 days. Offhand this sounds like it may have been a false positive from one of our anti-cheat plugins. If we confirm that is the case, then of course the ban record will be expunged.

After review, we're going to chalk this up to a false positive from the anti-cheat and as such I've deleted the ban from the record.

Just to avoid any future issues, do you know if this false positive was related to Mastercomfig? I’ve used it for years without problems, but if it conflicts with the server in any way, I can adjust or stop using it.

I can't say for certain (no software is perfect), but reading the description I would say it's unlikely to trip the sorts of things a server-side anti-cheat would be looking for - especially since you say you've been using it for years and this is the first time this has happened.
