Let me tell you, if the Health Department of Greene County sees those videos that you put on the damn Internet they could condemn our house, and we would have to move out of it...?
 
i really wish i could edit older posts in threads so i could slap a huge “heyyy this isnt needed anymore, see post below” at the top of that^ thread
 
speaking of maintenance, read a quote yesterday: “we’re so used to things functioning without a problem that we look to maintenance closures as a problem and not evidence of a system working as it should” :cigar
 
Right - and it's not obvious, but there is a fair amount of stuff that happens behind the scenes for which there is no closure because it can happen transparently.
 
Largely my goal here is that the only downtime I announce/explicitly schedule is that which cannot be completed on the fly. I try to avoid dropping people from an active server where possible
 
So we phase in all our config changes dynamically on map cycles etc
 
Know it has been a long time, but I'm coming here with a request if at all possible: I know previously Reechard had a huge repository of links and downloads for the ol' Play by Post Pathfinder games. Well, I just stumbled into a new group of folks who are looking for a DM, but don't have the resources. I have since lost the link to that repo, and I'd be extremely appreciative should anybody still have it kicking around.
 
Shoutouts to Statboy, Lumberjack, Reechard, Vint, Lady I can't remember the name of but was like only lady we had here during my time (redhead I think?)
