I'd like to contest this. My spray looks like an anime girl from afar, and an advertisement for a community minecraft server from close-up, thanks to Valve's mipmap mechanic.
I imagine the real reason for the ban is "harmful links", as it's described in the rules. It's the IP of a VPS i manage on which I run a minecraft server for some other players I met on vaultf4. I don't know what constitutes harmful in this context. I don't distribute harmful content with that virtual private server.
We figured it'd be funny to have the "worst" advertisement possible, seeing if other vaultf4 players wanted to join.
2 Weeks is excessive. I've received no prior warnings about this spray despite the use of the word "Repeated".
Last time I had a "revealing spray", (which was an anime girl in panties) the spray was banned rather than myself. this was over 2 years ago.

Your ban was indeed issued for sprays in violation of our server rules, more specifically the second part of rule #7 as follows:

• No unapproved advertising or self promotion: We do our players the courtesy of not exposing them to or profiting from third party advertisements on our servers, so we expect other players to have the courtesy to continue this ad-free environment. Examples of things that are not permitted:
  1. Stating you are selling services or items for physical money or tangible gain. Reasonable Steam trades are not covered by this rule, UNLESS you are spamming for trades/sales.
  2. NO 3rd-party server addresses. (Due to issues with malicious servers)
  3. Shilling products, services, or "stuff" in which you have a stake or vested interest
  4. Anything that would fall under the FTC's rules on paid promotion disclosure

We do not allow sprays with links or IP addresses of any kind in them as we cannot verify the safety of said links, and want to protect users from potential malicious activity. Please understand that we have nothing against your Minecraft server, but please just ask your friends in DMs to join it instead of trying to advertise it on our TF2C servers. Additionally, your first spray that was just the image with the IP and no fading spray aspect was blocked, to which you decided to re-upload the same spray but slightly modified with a fading image. Trying to evade a spray's block is a violation of our policies and we treat these the same as any other spray block, which can lead to punishment in the form of a ban if repeated.

However, there was a misunderstanding with the spray, where the fading image was mistakenly perceived as NSFW content and was, as a result, interpreted as a double rule break. That specific aspect was our bad, and we'll take ownership of that. With that in mind, I am willing to let this be treated as just a first infraction and end your ban early. This ban will remain on record, but you will be able to continue playing on the servers again as normal. Please keep in mind that future attempts to try and circumvent blocks on your sprays, as well as any other rule violations, will result in a punishment again.

I had no idea my first spray was blocked. It must've happened inbetween me switching sprays. I never saw that warning, as i'm sure it only shows up when you try to spray a banned spray. I'm glad this got resolved, and i understand that advertising isn't cool. I'll just message people directly.
