Additional Comments: I understand my comments were rather in poor taste and such, but i had no intent behind them. I know that typical TF2 casual humor and language isnt an excuse for any behaviour on TF2C, but considering the game and the game mod some leeway could be asked for. I have no intent to repeat those chat messages and would understand a refusal of a complete ungag, but i ask for at least a reduction from 3 weeks. Long story short, i made comments that were humor that didnt translate and i have no plans to repeat them, but i still want a way of communicating for ykonw, effective gameplay. Additional note i was mute n gagged before for 3 days which i wasnt much aware of.

After reviewing the details, we have elected to deny your appeal.

As you likely know, your mute was for consistent insulting of other players and repeated inappropriate language. As you said, you previously received a 2 day comms block in February for very similar behaviour.

To explain the higher duration of the block, our rules state that a second ban/comms block is to be in the order of weeks, not days.

1st Offense: Ban, or Communication Block. Bans and Communication Blocks will last no more than 3 days.

2nd Offense: Ban, or Communications Block, depending on the type of infraction. Bans and Communication Blocks will last from 1-2 weeks.

3rd Offense: Permanent Ban or Communications Block, only eligible for appeal in case of error *or* if at least 1 year has passed since the ban was issued

The listed durations are just a guideline, and since you continued this behaviour unchanged after your first mute, I find the 3 week duration appropriate for our standard escalation process.

I do understand that you may not have played during your previous mute and might not have noticed, which would explain why you didn't stop before. Hopefully now that you are aware, you will be able to react appropriately.
