Basically, if you were going to try and purchase a computer for gaming for less than 650USD (that's Unleavened Sour Doughnuts, by the by), only including the tower and recycling the rest of the peripherals, what would you do? I kind of already have my mind set on an option, but I'm curious as to what all you folks would suggest.

Alienware Alpha + SSD

I got mine refurb from this guy:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dell-Alienw...098820?hash=item1c5597d7c4:g:rt4AAOSwPcVVlusc

It still had the plastic on it. The hard drive was super super slow, but toss a 240GB SSD in it for another $70 and it's a pretty kick-ass little gaming machine. I bought it for a media center/living room steam box. First thing I did was install Bioshock Infinite, got 75+ frames in 1080p highest settings... Can't really beat it for an inexpensive gaming machine.
