[Current Version] tfdb_dream_island_b2 crashes when loading to join

m1.exe

Noob
Like the title says. Whenever i try joining when the tfdb_dream_island_b2, it crashes/closes my game. Even after deleting the maps from the files and downloading it on join again, it still crashes.

EDIT: This is happening on EU Dodgeball server for TF2:Classified

Interesting. Do you know if other people experience this too? In any case we can remove it from the map rotation for now.

I think it happened to other players as well since from 7-8 players, it went to 2 players remaining.

Kinda hard to communicate with other players after disconnecting from the server. Would be cool to have a discord server since i didn't seem to find one except the TF2 Classified. I can help in that regard, i also understand it's hard to trust a new member like me lol.

Sorry, no - we don't really have a public discord for a variety of reasons. Personally I prefer forums because my hot take is not everything should (or needs to be) a DM/instant format. The forum is a much more relaxed "check in at your convenience" atmosphere with better threading and organization of topics where it's harder to lose things because the messages have scrolled up past the top of your screen. :)

Also I'll say I definitely believe you, I'm just trying to collect info to troubleshoot the issue and perhaps find a fix. We know some maps have issues after the steam release (missing textures) so it's entirely possible there's more issues. A little surprising given Dodgeball originated with TF2 and the game now actually uses the base tf2 content, but I am also not a developer with insight into the specifics of how that all works. :)

Totally understandable, discord servers now are leaning more towards of needing to check message every now and then just in case if somebody breaking rules or whatever type of content they post. It's hard to manage a community even with a team and i'm speaking from experience but it also depends on the community and how mature the most active members are, of course. Although a little bit sad that it won't be happening.

Edit: At first i was confused since i didn't know where to post the issue, i almost said it on the TF2 Classified discord server 😖😖
