Additional Comments: Okay so, I have no idea why I was banned for 2 days, with no context whatsoever. I feel like I have theory as to why though!

So first off, last night I was bored as hell and decided to play randomizer because NA Standard died (I think, or I got bored of regular gameplay) so i went into randomizer to go play. 5-ish people. I went in and played the game as normal, doing the objective and killing enemies with those wacky ass weapons. The people in that server started complaining because I was capping (???) and I ignored them and stated "I don't care" in chat, because as far as I am concerned, doing the objective is... fun????????

Anywho, I said nothing else for like 2 hours, and these people kept saying rude things to me that I ignored because I thought it was funny, and it never once bothered me cause.. theyre random people online lol. There is nothing funnier than people who don't engage with the major aspects of the game to me so I kept playing randomizer as normal all the while they attempted to get a response out of me, they deliberately also RTV'd collectively any time I was nearing completion of the objective (which I'm quite sure is literal griefing??), during a match of I believe.. its that one CTF map with trees everywhere, they attempted to yet again RTV before I could finish the objective to, and I quote, "wait we should rtv to annoy him" (Source: https://hlx.vaultf4.com/hlstats.php?mode=chathistory&player=185435), so if anything i was not in the wrong here while I was having a laugh at their funny reactions.

Also it doesn't help that they stopped doing their "no capping" ruse and played with me as my teammates when we were on the same team, of which it was really fun.
I decided to troll these dorks by saying "yea can we change maps dis one is boring", and then they suddenly realized they could just leave if they wanted to, lol. On top of that I mimicked back the words they usually said to me during the match whenever they won or lost.

Anyways, thats my theory on why I think I got banned, over trolling people who refused to do the objective in randomizer even though the point of the game is to... play it.

Now for my appeal!

I sincerely see nothing wrong with playing the game in the way it's meant to naturally play, and I don't believe in superficial rules set by random players in the server, I just play the game and enjoy it. Banning me for 2 days over this seems utterly ridiculous considering I did not see a single report in the Administrator Log (which you can access in the menu of everything) against me from any of those two individuals who were taking the piss against me, and it only took them approximately an hour to realize that they were creating their own problems (not to mention they joined me in playing anyways??), it also doesn't help that I feel this was cherry-picked out the greater of the two, whereas it was me bantering with these dorks because its literally just funny seeing their reactions. If anything, I continued to say nothing for a longer time and they said worse things to me and I chose not to report them because like.. it doesn't bother me.. (and they clearly weren't bothered by me either considering they did not report me.)

And whenever they were on my team they would just afk in spawn (lol, until they got bored)

^^ I just now find it hilarious that out of everyone participating, I was picked over these two and this chef guy, and you can clearly see the chef dude getting upset that the other two are refusing to cap and play the game (he's clearly mad here, lol)

All-n-all, this feels like a certain moderator has a hate boner for me and acted on feelings rather than what makes sense for the rules of vaultf4! I would know considering i've had my fair share of mistakes as a vaultf4 staff before!

The problem with Juno the entire time they have been here, is that any time there is a problem involving Juno, even when Juno is causing the problem directly, there is always a reason why Juno is right and everyone else is wrong. You even came in here to contest a ban for being an asshole and you are unapologetic and accusatory, while admitting you're being a dick on purpose. If you log into a server and people are having fun but "aren't playing right", you're the one doing it wrong when you shit all over everyone else's good time.

The call is coming from inside the house. You were banned for a good reason. You've been an inflammatory dick that ruins people's fun, and then you try to rules-lawyer your way into being correct about it. This has been the pattern with you, and is why you're gone.

Whats funny about this response is that you did not acknowledge any of the portions of my appeal involving the evidence of the other players being just as bad as well as the fact that I said they joined me in playing the game normally anyways.

If you've not responded to most of the points I've made just to make an emotionally charged response about how I act to other players who set up completely superficial rules in-game, then I have absolutely zero reason to believe those points I've made to be wrong.

Now I can see you're reading that last line thinking "well now I gotta prove those points wrong" simply out of impulse. Brother, in the time it took to make this entire response the ban has timed out. At this point you could've not said anything and I wouldn't have cared. Ive lost complete faith in vaultf4 as a service to players simply because of how its run internally, and me and some former (and current) vaultf4 moderators would very much agree that the way VF4 is run currently internally is not sustainable.

Now then, you can either respond to the points you didnt address or you can remain silent (for all I care). I have better things to do than hold any amount of sentimental value to a third party server hosting website.

Your analogy sucks considering once again they were entirely insincere about their stupid ass "no capping" rule in that they decided to do objectives anyways (and once again, what you all seem to ignore, attempted to ragebait someone else who wanted to play the objective normally, lol. The site is owned by people who have legal obligations to keep servers safe, not fun for Juno, not running according to Juno's expectations, but safe. Your interpretation, thoughts, or intentions regarding the rules are irrelevant. The opinions that are held by Lava, Vintage, and Myself are the rule of law here. Our rule of law here says that fun is the important thing. Your opinions and actions regarding "creative" enforcement of the rules to keep things "safe" instead of "fun" keeps shitting in people's Cheerios. If you're not going to shut the fuck up and play the game and not be an insufferable shithead while you do it, you will be banned again your record here is not going away. Apologies for the delayed response to your appeal. While usually Vintage would handle this since I'm the one who issued the ban, he's currently indisposed for a few weeks. To prevent bias, the following reply has been written with the input and review of the entire moderation team.

Your ban was a result of you repeating behavior that you have previously been warned is against our rules. At the time of the previous warning, you were a staff member, so this ban was handled with the expectation that you have an intimate knowledge of our rules, what they mean, and how to follow them. You were specifically banned for joining a small randomizer server where there were about 4-5 players were having fun and agreeing not to cap. You then proceeded to immediately try and begin capturing, and continued even after being asked not to do so. This is a clear violation of Rule 5:

Don’t be an asshole. This is a catch-all rule used as necessary to maintain the “spirit” of our servers. We call it the "brown hat" rule, AKA "don't be scumbag Steve". This rule includes, but is not limited to:

• Disrespecting admin requests, heckling staff, or direct admin attacks
• Teamstacking/rejoining a server to avoid a team scramble/swapping teams after being balanced
• Deliberately doing things to annoy people after they've politely asked you to stop.
• Intentionally filing false reports
• Intentionally starting drama or bringing up controversial subjects to start arguments (aka trying to “trigger” people)

This isn't some special hate-boner I have for you where I acted on "feelings" rather than the rules. This is a typical ban issued to a repeated troublemaker who has previously broken the same rule and been aware of it and who has been kicked off the staff team for similarly antagonistic, dickish behavior. In your time in this community, you've actively gone out of your way to attack and harass servers trying to get the achievement on pl_jinn, banned players for not playing in a way you like (such as playing engi on a flank), picked fights with other staff members, refused and argued against filing proper ban tickets then made snarky comments about my insistence on doing the bare fucking minimum, and generally just been an insurmountable git. Generally I try to keep an air of professionalism and respect, even to people who outright don't deserve it, but you've been outright misrepresenting the situation every chance you get and generally just causing a toxic, troublesome environment people do not want to be a part of. When all that history is compiled together, I think a 2 day ban is perfectly reasonable for this situation.
Due to these reasons, your appeal has been denied. Since it was a 2 day ban that expired on 6/29/2025 (two days ago at the time of writing this), that means it will remain on your record. In addition, due to just how insufferable and obnoxious you've been, any further complaining about your 2 day ban will almost certainly be met with a perm ban from a senior staff member, because that's just how done with you we are.

Trolls can fuck right off, especially when you've been given plenty of chances to stop being one. This ban has been upgraded to a permanent one and handled this way due to its exceptionally inane nature.
