Additional Comments: I was muted and gagged after raising my voice and insulting a person in the VC. I acknowledge my behavior was inappropriate, but I disagree with the length and the delivery. I had no existing offenses, I was given no prior warning, and from what I remember the admin said something along the lines of "I'm sick and have a headache, I don't want to deal with this" implying that if it was just a different day it may not have happened the way it did. I ask that it at least be reduced to less than a day so it's just a warning, not a first offense.

On review I am inclined to agree the communications block appears to be excessive compared to what transpired. I will however point out that the staff member did ask everyone to chill out shortly before this incident, so it was not entirely without warning.

In any case, I have shortened the ban length accordingly.

Perhaps I wasn't as attentive to the chat as I should have been. Regardless, you have my thanks. I'll be sure to avoid exploding like that again.
