D&D... what say ye?

Any day except the weekends work best for me. I'm trying to find myself a 7-4 weekdays job. I may get this one I recently had an interview for.

would everybody be up for meeting this tuesday at 7e, to go over if we are starting over or not, and if we like any of the new people i've found?

I could probably manage that timeframe, do you expect us to have characters ready at that time or are we doing general chit-chat to figure that stuff out?

Figure out stuff, because if we're starting over, i lost my character on my old computer and will have to build a new one

I am gone Wednesday as well. I could possibly do tonight. Gotta run some errands right after work. Should be around by 7PM. Otherwise, would have to be Thursday night or next week

I'll try to be on as well. I've been spending time away from my computer while not at work, it's just been driving me nuts sitting in a chair in front of a screen while not at work, so I've been working on arcade games and doing general house-stuff. I'd definitely like to start up D and/or D again.

I think I should be able to join in- Get reechard to poke me on gtalk if I forget.

Most game breaking thing in PF? So i figured this one out after I got off last night. It's a Half-Orc, Beast-Master (Ranger) Archetype. Beast Master allows for having multiple animal companions. Each time you level up you can choose to either level up your companion or add a new level 1 companion to join you. So by level 5 you have 3 feats and two animal companion levels, imagine taking two animals (1 has to be ape) and giving them both the Companion boon (making them both level 5) and using your last feat on the orc racial feat that allows you to change an animal companion to a Gargantuan animal leaves you with a large Ape riding a Triceratops into Battle!!

The nice thing about this build is that instead of Armor and Weapons you just take a lawn chair and a bottle of Vodka into battle.

Wanna know whats really broken?

A 20th level Wizard specialized in Necromancy.
What can you do with said Wizard?
Well, you can cast Suffocation. Not just any Suffocation, but a Persistent Extended Focused Heightened Suffocation. And thanks to feats like Spell Focus (& Greater Spell Focus), Spell Perfection, and Spell Specialization it just makes it that much more badass.

So with all those feats and metamagic feats applied, you end up with a Suffocation that last 6 rounds. Save DC 34 (Fortitude). If you fail the first save, you have to make 6 more saves for the spell to end. Oh and If you manage to succeed on a save? Well you have to save again for it to be successful. The short version? If you fail the first save, you have to succeed on 12 saves before failing 3 times or you die.

And there is a spell called Mass Suffocation. And it does the same thing (Minus extended focused and heightened) It is a 9th level spell, so DC 32, but it lasts 10 rounds and with a Persistent Metamagic Rod, you have to make 20 saves before failing three. And you can cast it on 10 people. The best part about it all? I can cast that crazy Suffocation 6 times and the Mass Suffocation 3 times. A Day.

What is that third feat you are talking about?

In a game I played once, my character was a 38-Chlevel 20 Favored Soul who could call down long range artillery by casting 16 Maximized Cometfalls in a row with Versatile Spellcaster.

Oh god you guys. I'm not going to be around next week, going on vacation in Chicago.

Would you be terribly offended if we started w/o you? I'm thinking with 5 people we should keep going if we only have 4, otherwise we'll be playing once a month or less again.
