Freezetag Is Back Now :)

Ah, it seems TF2Items updated. That would do it. it works now, I'll add it into rotation shortly.


At this point I'm sorry to say classic FT from FFN will not be revived, for reasons beyond my control.
 
I did grab that version. :)

Well, I'll call the test a success. FT is now officially part of the SB server lineup, and will remain as the only thing on this server all weekend! :)
 
Friargram is working on a new version with a new cvar that allows the console to unfreeze players after a set time.
 
If you're close with him, can you ask if the behaviour that frozen players go flying when hit by an enemy is intentional? ;)
 
jumped on for a little bit, but definitely not what i was used to. Froze right away for joining in the middle of a round. had to sit to 2:30 before the round was over. i sure hope that they get that changed so that it will unfreeze after x seconds. I saw above they were working on it, but hopefully it will come soon.
 
I'm aware of the 1.0.6 update, will install it later. I see it has an auto-defroster. Doesn't look like it boots you back to spawn though.

If I enable map objectives and the auto-defroster to drop you to 1 HP if you auto-defrost, would that be OK for those of you longing for the days of yore? Seems like it would be _pretty_ close to what FT originally did.

I wonder what would happen if I set the auto-defroster health percentage to zero...?
 
Updated and installed with those mentioned chances. Auto-defrost set to 20 seconds.
