Gamer Girls Magazine is a Cancer To Gaming

Geoff

Sir "Let's Play"

The only thing I want to add to this is that my friend actually DOES play with just a shirt on usually. =P

But yeah, this is a real magazine. Beyond fucking stupid.

This is beyond words...seriously...this is why female gamers have ZERO credibility still...ugh. The notion that people even feel the need to describe a gamer as male or female is asinine. A gamer is a gamer. Game over bitches.

This is also why I have a very short fuse with objectification in our servers unless I can tell it's in good fun.

I now want a Gamer Guy Magazine. Get some nude guys, toss a controller in front of their junk. Sell.

WHOO - now I know what to get lava next secret santa... twelve months of cheetos-stained neckbeards! :D

(yes, I'm being facetious...)

This is essentially Maxim for nerds, they aren't trying to show real women, just make money and those "objectified women" sign up for it knowing exactly what it is and are paid for it. Ohh and it doesn't actually show fully naked women, they are all covered up. It's perfectly acceptable to be objectified if you sign up for it, hell if you're hot like these women are it's easy money. This isn't a gaming magazine like the a-hole making the video is trying to say, it's a girly mag. If there's a market for it, they should make a male gamers magazine for women, hell in my younger (hotter) days i'd have posed in it for money. The guy making this video is an excessive prudist.

I think the point here is more that this does nothing to help the proper female gamer get away from the widely persistent "OMG GAMER GUUUUUUURRRRRLLLLLZZZ" that must make their lack of a penis known at every opportunity.

These aren't those girls though, I doubt any of them were chosen for any reason other than their looks. I personally haven't run into any girls that do perpetuate that stereotype, so like most people I'm smart enough to know that most girls aren't like that.

All men are rapists, all women are men, and all children are undercover FBI agents.

Using the word "Gamer" and "Guuurl" in the same sentence offends me morally.

"If I can pontificate a bit, for your edification. One of the rules of the Internet is: "there are no girls on the Internet." This rule does not mean what you think it means. In real life, people like you merely for being a girl. They want to fuck you, so they pay attention to you and they pretend what you have to say is interesting, whether or not you are genuinely interesting, or that you are smart of clever, whether or not you are actually smart or clever. On the Internet, there is no chance to fuck you; this means the advantage of being a "girl" does not exist. You don't get a bonus to conversation just because someone wants to put their cock in you.

When you make a post like "hurr durr, I'm a gurl," you are begging for attention. The only reason to post it is because you want your girl-advantage back, because you are too vapid or too stupid to do or say anything interesting without it. You are forgetting the rule "there are no girls on the Internet." The one way around this rule, the one way you can get your "girlness" back on the Internet, is to post your tits. This is, and should be, degrading for you, an admission that the only interesting thing about you is your naked body."
-from 1d4chan's page on "No Girls on the Internet", allegedly from /b/.

Replace "Being on the internet" with "Playing video games" and this is basically my though process.

All they did was fill a "up and coming", "fetish" of the girl that plays video games and is hot.

Saddest part about it is that the internet has an infinite amount of free porn so why make a magazine....

If i was a super hot chick I would so make money off my body.
