As of now im downloading it. But I'm not sure how I should look at the game. Should I look at it as a whole new game that is like TF2 meets Quake Arena. Or should I base my opinion of it on the observation that it is a heavy reskin of TF2.
I just got the game, what am I to expect from it?

For one, you're only thinking of deathmatch mode (even though it's the most popular) Think of it as: Team Fortress 2K7 now with new gamemodes, extra teams, different unlocks and weapons, and no hats dragging your framerate down into the single digits. Deathmatch mode itself is pretty quake-esque and has some new weapons unique to it. Deathmatch = quake, rest of the game = TF2K7 Game of the decade edition.
