Is there any way to gift Supporter to another user?

Title. Was interested in renewing my $40 a year supporter sub but giving someone else the benefits instead of myself so that they could have an easier time joining the game. Is this not something that's possible to do under the current system?

I don't believe it is, as the system is tied to the forum and Steam accounts of the person paying, as far as I'm aware. If you wanted to pay for someone's supporter, you may just want to offer the money to them directly or something of that sort.
