If you don't know why you were banned, you probably broke one of our server rules. Most bans are temporary except in the case of gross violations or repeated infractions. -
We're aware of issues with delays or non-recording of HLStats events. We've traced them to an unknown delay in events being transmitted from the server to the HLStatsX:CE backend. The investigation is ongoing. ~VintagePC

Your ban was not lifted because you joined the server on an alternate account immediately after being banned. So your 2 day ban was upgraded to permanent, as per our policies on evading bans.
