Official Vault F4 Highlander Team Recruitment Thread

I would like to apply for a position. Preferences from most preferred to least: Soldier, Scout, Demoman, Heavy. Thanks for considering me as a member of the team :D.

EDIT: I would also be fine with playing backup for Pyro or Engi
 
I am pretty good with all the classes, with the exception of sniper and spy. but this also means I am not particularly skilled with any one particular class.
A class that I seem to do better with are pyro, medic, and soldier.
Please consider me to be a canidate.
 
Hey, my name is Googots, I've been playing Team Fortress 2 for about a year now, and I thought it would be quite fun to apply for a Team. My best classes are heavy and soldier, I can also play Medic, sniper, Pyro (but who can't, am I right?), and Demoman, My worst class would have to be Spy. I would LOVE to play for Vault, but if I don't get accepted, I understand.

Hey my steam name is Gorshin07. I've clocked in over 500 hours in TF2 and never played it in an official competitive setting but I think its about time :D

My favorite classes to play would be:
1. Demoman
2. Medic
3. Soldier
4. Scout
5. Pyro
(In that order).

Hey I would love to join as a Scout (definitely my most played class and I'm always testing out new strategies) I know I have over 200 tf2 hours but was unable to play over the summer and I'm going to play tons in the next few weeks. I have no experience with competitive playing though a friend of mine was in a team last year. I am a very outgoing guy (with mumble and a mic) and always open to criticism. I can also sub for other positions including : Sniper, Medic, and Pyro (in that order). My schedule is a little restricted being a student and in a club but I will have plenty of free time. I look forward to hearing for you and regardless of how this application turns out, I'm rooting for Vault4

My Choices
1. Soldier
2. Scout
I'm only about average with demo and heavy.
(My stats got messed up by my friend who went on an idleing server. To keep them true I wiped them last month)

I'll take the Soldier part if you want, I'm pretty good at it... and my alternate that isn't taken as far as I know is Demoman. Hope ya guys pick meh! ;)
 
Ok guys we have 18 players now, the roster is current and shows the classes people WANT, we will need subs for each class (which are now accounted for). Tryouts will begin next saturday (Aug 17) @ 9pm EST (This can be changed if needed). PLEASE, everyone have mumble and a working mic by that time. I will have various categories that I will use to evaluate each member. Please don't rage quit if you don't get your class as you will still be needed in the roster as a backup (stuff happens). I will be inviting everyone to the steam group on that day during the meeting. Looking forward to seeing all of you there.

While i try not to boast, it has always been a dream of mine to be apart of a competetive gaming group. While i am definetly not the best, i like to believe that i have some skill.
As for class Prefrences, i am adept or moderatly skilled in all classes with the exception of spy. My Prefrence is as followed.

Would love to play:

Scout
Engineer
Soldier

Would not Mind playing:

Heavy
Pyro
Demoman(DemoKnight)
Sniper
Medic

Will definetly not play, no matter what:

Spy

I hope that i can become a part of your group, and hope that you will enjoy my services as much as i will enjoy giving them to you.
A bit of a warning though, i speak with a bit of an accent and a tiny stutter. Which might be a problem. I tend to have it under control when talking strategy and calling out incomings, however.
 
I'll add ya to list, but keep in mind the roster is limited to 18 people so if everyone shows up to try out 1 person may be unhappy

Quick update guys, the map you will be playing on will be Badlands. Also the way the tryouts/meeting will work: Introductions, knowledge on comp play, what I intend to do with you guys for this season, general roles for each class, tryouts will begin. I will not be bringing in another team for us to fight, we will scrim ourselfs (a.k.a. Captain style, like high school dodgeball). Based on the criteria I will be using for each class (I will inform everyone of them before hand) I will determine main and backups for each class (others opinions may be weighted in)

try clicking the blue arrow to the left of the mumble entry in the server list to the right of the forum index?
