Pretty sure the in-game chat also has a filter option to disable the appearance of HLX messages, unless you're specifically referring to HLX not recording your stats at all.

Oh wow that's neat, I only noticed there was a chat filter a few months ago, despite playing the game for so long

Well I mean, I don't think it was a think before Classified.

The chat filter? I'm pretty sure it was in live as well, unless you mean specifically the HLStats messages filter.

I don't think it was in Classic though because it didn't integrate with Steam in the same way
