I'v been having this error when i installed the latest version 2.003b and i did everything instructed on the page and this has been every time i load the game up. Please someone help me.
Surfaceproperties.txt cannot load.

Is this the first time you've installed the game? If so, you may have downloaded the patch instead of the entire client plus the patch. Please verify that this is not the case.
Other useful information to know would be your operating system, and which drive you have steam installed in (the program itself, not the games).

yes i installed the full game and not the patch and x64, C:
If this problem still persists, download Vapor and place it in sourcemods/tf2classic/. Run Vapor, allow it to hash all the files, and press enter when it prompts you to. It'll then download any files you may be missing.
