[Story Progression] The Great Library of Tephu

Whatever, I'll research nobility since no sleep, but if Idessa could go sell the belt and bring me meat on a stick, that would be excellent.

Aech: Research Notes updated, you feel you have searched this library over completely and now have something to look for in the Dark Depository.

Rest of The Party: The woman is still down there with you (nobody has asked her, her name yet), upon seeing you wrapping up your research she asks if you are ready for her to accompany you guys back up safely.
 
"Wow, isn't that the place that Deka An-Keret mentioned? And didn't she have a blue feather pendant? What a wacky coincidence." Idessa muses.

Idessa confers with the party. "We probably shouldn't try leaving the library itself, since it's the middle of the night, but we could go back towards the entrance now since she's already here to escort us." Then, louder, to the woman, "What's your name, anyway?"
 
"I am Udjebet" she says "Yes the room you found me in up top is the safest place to wait out the rest of night, I can even stand watch for you if you like." You guys can make camp in that small room or anywhere you wish to try your luck. You'll actually have just enough time to rest and get your spells back and avoid fatigue if you wish. Please post what you are going to do, ie where are you going to make camp, and what sentries are you posting. Whenever you are ready Udjebet will lead you back up past the switchback hallway to the upper level

Also when you rest it is leveling up time! Level 8 for everybody. Remember this is an ability score increase level.

Memsie will go back to the room where we first encountered Udjebet, and crashes in the round chair previously. Before sleep however, he thoroughly (take 10) checks the floor. With her eyeing it earlier, he wanted to make sure it wouldn't fall out from under him during the night.
 
I'll head back to the room as well. I don't mind taking a watch shift.
 
Idessa will watch Udjebet for a little bit, to see what she is researching about.

BTW, how much xp do we actually have? I just wanna put the number on my sheet.
 
Memsie: The floor is dusty and dirty, you see some footprints, and some small cobwebs. A couple normal house spiders you think.

Idessa: Udjebet has brought two books up with her Fashion of Ancient Osirion Nobility and a large boring looking tome entitled An Expanded History of the Church of Wadjet

Argor and Idessa: Pls make perception checks

Whole Party: You went to sleep with 50,100 xp, woke up with 52,500, and when you exit the library will have 53,300

Alright the night passes without incident. The sun is probably up and to the best of your knowledge you've waited a safe hour or two after the library was supposed to open. Since you don't know exact time underground.
 
Idessa, bearing the permission slip, exits the dungeon, peering out the door to make sure there's librarians and daylight on the ground floor, and no hungry fat statue.
 
Idessa, having made sure the way is safe, goes back to fetch the party. As she passes the second hallway, she bids the large demon goodbye. "Goodbye large demon. Thank you for not eating me." When back in the little alcove, she passes the word around that it's time to go and break into the next library. She wonders why a book on ancient fashion needed to be hidden in this secret library, and resolves to find one on the surface. "Hey, Udjebet, you've been around, right? Have you been to the other libraries of Tephu? Perhaps the one called 'The Dark Depository'?".
 
"I've heard many secrets" she says. "That Dark Depository has an evil reputation, there is nothing down there I care to know."
