Hello again
Good golly just look at the time! It's almost been four years since I last visited these forums, but when the beacon of questionable admining lights up in the sky, I guess I just have to come out of the woodworks don't I.
As I said almost four years ago, I'd consider myself somewhat of a regular. I take some breaks here and there, but I've spent a frighteningly large portion of my life playing this game. Admins usually come and go, some better, some worse. But it's almost always the newer ones that comes in guns blazin' as the new sheriff in town. They usually settle down after a while, we've seen it before.
Now, it seems like some questionable adminin' is happening again. This time from a new fella I hadn't seen before; vilewitch.
People know me as a chatty guy. You could probably fill several bindings full of my chat logs if you go far enough back in time. Each line of chat more grandios than the last. My record is fairly clean too, especially considering all these years of playtime. Well, tonight I caught myself my first ever 60 minute mute, by our new admin friend vilewitch.
Now you may be asking yourself "But Koedy, isn't making this much of a fuss over a 60 minute MUTE - not even a ban - a complete waste of time?". Yeah it probably is. But I guess this is mainly out of principle - and there are zero other ways to fight back against admin behvaiour outside the forums. Now, I could have eaten my mute, let him get his powertrip, go along with my life. I guess I just care too much. And it takes one hell of an admin to piss me off so hard to the point of me having to dig through old passwords so I can write another angry post on here.
So consider this an official complaint against vilewitch.
I don't have as great of a case as I did all those years ago against our boy Madrazo, but I do urge staffers to take great care and pride in who they pick for any positions of power. It probably takes only a few players to ruin the server, but it certainly only takes one bad admin to do it too.
And I know admining sucks. You gotta deal with exploiters, hackers and whiny cunts like me. You ping 'em with a report, they come in, deal with the mess, and disappear into the night. Saviours. Now some of these new school knucklehead sheriffs that roll into town, handing out bans, mutes and warnings left and right, having absolutely zero grasp of the context of the relationships or the tone. Our boy vilewitch certainly made a name for himself in a very short time coming on to the server.
I even heard some of my very good friends caught some bans too, and they have, as far as I'm aware, long and clean records like I do too. But what do I know? Maybe it's all just a big coincidence that long term players - with clean records - are suddenly catching bans and mutes left and right since a certain new Admin arrived.
My 60 minute mute is probably long over by now since I've written this load of garbage. I stand by my logs, I always do, but I mean who really cares at this point.

We don't spend all these years on these servers because we hate them, we do it because we love them.
