    I know its a client side crash, but a paranoid part of my mind is starting to suspect that someone is triggering these crashes

    Yeah, I'm guessing the patch to make the game compatible with the new SDK changes is taking more time than expected. I restarted a bunch of the empty servers, maybe that will make it happen less often for a while
