Horror Game Suggestions

Geoff

Sir "Let's Play"
So, I can't do local recordings with XSplit because (A) there's no sound and (B) Camtasia Studio doesn't work with the files it creates.

However, I can LIVESTREAM! Still gotta figure out the lighting situation at night, but I can easily livestream a singleplayer game.

Games I won't do:

Amnesia: The Dark Descent or A Machine For Pigs
Slenderman (OR ANY VARIATION)
Outlast (Already seen the whole thing)

The Seventh Guest
Alone in the Dark
I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream

These are all classic old-school games and you should play them.

Don't hate. You'll still pee your pants on these classics. New games are all about jump scares, these are more.... in-depth horror.

I find that you can only really enjoy classics if you played them in the past already. I've tried "classic" games and it just sucks.

I've tried "classic" games and it just sucks.

You damn kids and your cassette tapes and walkmans. When I was your age, "horror game" meant your little sister overwrote your save in Zelda. Damn kids and your 16-bit graphics can't go and play an old game once in a while. Get off my lawn!

I did try. "Once in a while" means once every 5 years or so right?

I tried an old game. It sucked balls. Get with the times you old bastard.

I've watched multiple videos on Nether and honestly I'll just wait a bit before touching it. It is not a horror game, it's survival.

Whelp, you've narrowed it down to:

Amnesia: The Dark Descent or A Machine For Pigs
Slenderman (OR ANY VARIATION)
Outlast (Already seen the whole thing)

=\

Lol, well shit!

There is a game on Steam that was greenlit ages ago called The Forest. It looks great and I'm waiting for that. Otherwise, I was going to attempt that old speedrun of A Machine For Pigs if anyone would be up for watching me stream that (facecam would happen as I think I'd still get frightened at moments).

Otherwise...damnit. There has to be some horror games...
