[Story Progression] Part One: The Last Will and Testament of Petros Lorrimor

The bartender comes back and gives you two large mugs of a amber colored ale as well as bowl of Ghoul Stew. It is difficult for you to tell what exactly is in the stew. Whether or not it is meat and what kind of meat it claims to be are up for debate. What ever it is, it does smell delicious. The bar tender gives you a big smile and says "That'll be 2 silvers for tha stew n 'nother silver for tha brews." he sticks his hand out expectantly and waits for you to drop the coins into his big meaty hand.

[OOC] My apologies for this week. Been rough at home with da bebe.

Beornmar drops a gold coin into the mans hand. "For the table sir," he says with a smile on his face.

"That be mighty generous of ya, sir. Jus let me know when you want more ta drink." The bartender bows his head and smiles broadly as he takes the gold coin, raises it to his mouth and bites down on it to ensure its authenticity. He gives you a wink and walks off back towards the kitchen. When he returns he strikes up a conversation with you. "So... What brings you to this sleepy part o' Ustalav?" He is wiping down a table that was just recently vacated

"We've come to stay with Miss Kendra after her father's funeral. I owed him much, and it's the least I can do for his memory."

"Ahh Petros... Good man, may Pharasma keep his soul. Don't let these fools like Gibbs sway you. Most folk in this town respected tha Professor. He did nothin' but help us, even those that spread those nasty rumors about him. The man was more a saint than a necromancer. How long are ya planning on stayin' in good ol' Ravengro?" Zolkar continues his rounds at tables around you and is wiping down tables as soon as the patrons get up to leave. He nods his head at the mention of the professor and gives a reassuring smile as he talks about the people of the town and his memories of the professor. As you finish your food he cleans up your plates and refills your mugs and then returns to the rest of the patrons.

Both of you hear people talking nearby at other tables. In hushed tones you keep hearing rumors that every once in a while, if you visit Harrowstone near sundown, you can hear the ghost of the warden's wife wailing and sobbing from somewhere within the ruins. And that she haunts the prison now, forever mourning her husband and attempting to frighten anyone who intrudes on the prison.
