love my resin prints. so much detail

I have a resin machine but don't use it much because it's a messy/stinky process

and most parts I do are technical/mechanical rather than e.g. miniatures

its not too bad, I have it in another room with a good air filter; that handles the stink just fine.the messy doesn't bother me much, as prep prevents most of it from being more than a minor thing.

I do a lot of tech parts,

My biggest issue is that none of teh filaments or resins are really suited for outdoors long term

even the ones that claim UV stability fare poorly in testing

and I really want to build antenna parts.

yeah, I don't really have a second room as a workshop right now

I got lucky with this house, we have a lot of room

I might end up moving in the next year or so

folks that built this house were 'old country' and there's two kitchens.

we'll see what happens to the rent; they're renovating the whole building and the price of the redone units is about 1k more

hopefully mine doesn't go up too badly but of course they can always try that to "encourage" more people to leave the older ones

Yeah, that would suck. I dont miss apartment life.

mhm, I kinda wouldn't mind a place of my own but the state of affairs for me is a bit too temporary for that to really be practical

also, house prices are absolutely stupid right now

nah, just on a work visa that needs regular renewal
