unfortunately that's a broader networking issue and out of our hands The good news is it usually resolves itself once whatever causes the traffic redirection is resolved

well, considering the fact that all tx'd data is encoded in arbitrary voltages, its wild that i can even play tf2 at all lol

dude spends like the first minute going over how to keep signal integrity when just reading the signal, its so cool how hard that problem can be. like the whole reason an ethernet cable has pairs of twisted wires is just to combat other electrical waves from influencing our signal while its in transit

wireless antennas are even cooler, simple ones are basically just wire thats positioned in a way that, when electromagnetic waves come by, it'll "resonate" to the right frequency, so if theres like a large electromagnetic wave at it's resonant frequency which comes around, the antenna picks it up. its sort of like a tuning fork

RF is freaking voodoo man - radio and tv stations and whatnot don't use solid wire, they use hollow copper pipes to get signals out to the antenna, and stuff like mixing frequencies and filtering can sometimes be done just with specially shaped holes/cavities in metal, not with e.g. active electronics
