yeah they use hollow copper cause high frequency ac all gathers around the edge of a wire, this happens caues the magnetic field around AC current causes an opposing current inside of itself to cancel it out
my day job is basically EE adjacent and I take the stuff they build/design and develop the software and operating systems that run on it. it is bonkers
I'm sitting there going "dude you designed a whole frigging tiny computer system from individual chips" and they go "dude you put together all the SW bits and pieces that make it run a full fledged operating system and actually make the hardware do something"
