[Story Progression] The Great Library of Tephu

Memsie has low light vision. He still waits patiently for those more familiar to the upper levels and better tasked for the situation at hand to continue. The time to shine comes when things need to get fried, or we need to get the hell out.

As a reminder we are using the map on roll20; move your tokens accordingly and use the map to know where you are going. What does the party do next?

I light a torch and peer ahead into the straight corridor, then sneak around the corner to peek what's down the side corridor.

(Let me know if you need new stealth/percep/etc rolls).

I'll report back to the group what I see, if anything.

The passage north ends in a hexagonal chamber the daemon sitting within it. Scribbled writing is carved into the walls, but it is too far away to read. The passage east, turns south, then begins to curve back east. If you want to check for traps you have to call it, you don't get free perception checks for that, otherwise sneak if you don't want anything to hear you, though in the dark the light might give you away as well.

Also pls forgive the Statboys poor attempt at a curved corridor, Statboy is not an artist he's a businessman.

I was kinda considering it an extension of the previous move/rolls, if you want new ones here they are:

edit: forget the stealth, as you say torch kinda negates it

Vintage: I was just replying to you saying to holla if you need a perception and just reminding you I won't holla if you're heading for a trap. You don't need another perception.

Right... but since we're not in combat, I guess what I was trying to ask was "is anything I do further a new "move action" or is it a continuation of what I started to do before I was so rudely interrupted by fuzzball?

The former obviously makes sense in retrospect, so that's why the new roll... I'm still light-stepping it and checking for traps as I go

Idessa starts when the gnome;s magical lights appear out of nowhere and illuminate the hallway and the back of Argor's arm. "Oh. Does he need light to see?"

Ioun stones don't create light as far as I'm aware.

Some do, I didn't look up yours rather I decided Argor needed some light instead of total darkness. An oft unused rule you guys could use is that Magical Weapons when crafted have a 30% chance of giving off light equal to a light spell. If Argor purchased a magical weapon he would be able to find one that does this.

I bought two... would I roll two 1d10s to determine? (three or less is light)?
(no, I don't have darkvision)

What would the added cost be? equivalent to another +1 modifier or just a flat price like masterwork?

None of the above, it wouldn't cost any extra. Upon creation it's a flat 30% chance to happen. Which actually seems about right for demand, because of how many races have low-light/dark vision and wouldn't want it, so no difference in price and it doesn't affect the magical rating.

Memsie patters down the steps after Argor. If the pass turned away that hairy beast, he wanted to be as close to that pass as he could get.

[trigger]Probably redundant perception check.: 30[/trigger]
[trigger=by]For: TimeCrush Re: #431[/trigger]

If the party continues taking 3-4 days per little section of corridor than the Daemon might start chasing you guys just to hurry things up. But no the perception check turns up nothing new.
